Philosophy, Purpose and Objectives

Every child has a God-given right to learn, grow and develop to his or her maximum potential in all spheres of life--spiritually, intellectually, physically, emotionally and socially.

It is the duty and the right of Catholic parents to ensure that their children receive the best possible formation in academics, character development, and love of God. To this end, Blessed Sacrament Academy pledges that every teacher in every one of our classrooms will be a practicing Catholic who loves and lives the truths of the Faith. Teachers will be certified through NAPCIS and possess all necessary skills to ensure their effectiveness in the classroom.

Blessed Sacrament Academy offers an environment that combines traditional values, a classical curriculum (including foreign languages, music and art), high academic standards, and solid instruction in the Faith, according to the teachings of the Magisterium. The children benefit from a low teacher-student ratio and lessons rich in one-on-one interaction. Our small classes ensure that the needs of the students are being met as their individual achievement progresses.

Parents who entrust their children to BSA can expect that they will see their young ones grow in a loving awareness of their Catholic identity. Teachers and students gather for prayer at the beginning of the day, at lunch, and before dismissal. Mass is celebrated on our campus every month, and parents are welcome to attend. Children are taught about the lives of the saints, and encouraged to take these heroic men and women as role models. Throughout the school day, virtues such as charity, perseverance and self-control are continually taught and reinforced. Students at BSA are immersed in an atmosphere in which faith, academic striving, and good character are admired and praised, not only by their teachers, but also by their peers.
